discdogs helps you track and receive notifications for releases listed on the Discogs marketplace. This user manual will guide you through setting up and customizing your notification preferences to ensure you never miss out on the records you're looking for.

Setting up notifications

Login

If you are not already connected, log in using your Discogs account.

Creating alerts for specific items

From you the wantlist view on the main page, witch the bell toggle 🔔 next to each release you're interested in.

Creating alerts in bulk

Save time by using the "Set alerts in Bulk" button located in the top right corner of the main page to activate notifications for all records displayed on the current page at once.

Avoiding duplicate notifications

Enable the "Deduplicate alerts" option in your account settings to receive only one notification for identical listings (same seller, price and grading) over a 30-day period.

Notification delivery options

You can receive notification via email and/or Telegram. Both can be set from your account settings.

Syncing your Discogs wantlist

Click on the "Sync wantlist" option to update your list with the latest additions.

Troubleshooting

If you're not receiving notifications, check that:

• Notifications are properly enabled for the specific items
• Your email address or Telegram account is correctly configured
• Your notification criteria (price, condition, etc.) meet your requirements

Adding filters

Filters are optional and can be set for each item of your wantlist individually.
You can also set default filters from your account settings.

Price

You'll receive a notification only when a copy is listed at or below your specified price. You can also include shipping cost in the price calculation by clicking the shipping cost 🚚 checkbox.

Condition

Set minimum acceptable conditions for both media and sleeve individually for each item in your Wantlist. You'll receive a notification only for items meeting or exceeding those condition criteria.

Seller

Set a minimum acceptable seller rating. You'll receive a notification only for items with seller with rating meeting or exceeding this threshold.

Shipping

Filter listing by country of origin. You'll receive a notification only items shipping within the selected countries.
This filter is set globally from your account settings and can be disabled at item level by unchecking the 🌍 checkbox.
